MAGHREB EXPLORATION LIMITED was registered in the United Kingdom on 8 August, 2005 (Reg. No. 5529945).
The main objective of Maghreb Exploration is to seriously evaluate several potential oil and gas exploration projects in the countries of the Maghreb, in order of generally recognized prospectivity: Libya, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, and Western Sahara. Maghreb Exploration, on its own, and in joint bidding agreements with other international oil companies, both big and small, will assemble a portfolio of three or four attractive exploration opportunities in the Maghreb countries, within the next two years.
